WURI Innovation Rankings: From Rising to Recognized
Davao’s innovation ecosystem took center stage in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), as more institutions broke into the global charts. Recognition came in both the overall rankings and in specific innovation categories like entrepreneurship, ethical value, and student mobility.
Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, Davao del Sur State College, and University of the Immaculate Conception were ranked in the WURI Global Top 400 — a regional first.
Three institutions — MMCM, UIC, and DSSC — earned recognition in three innovation categories each, highlighting multidimensional creativity.
University of Southeastern Philippines and Ateneo de Davao University made their first-ever entries in WURI’s innovation categories.
